Chanca Piedra - Stone Breaker
Chanca Piedra is known by a few other names such as "stone breaker" or "shatter stone". The phytochemicals are known to increase urine flow, kill bacteria and relieve inflammation. It is best known for its potential in treating kidney stones. The herb may help prevent the formation of kidney stones as well as reduce the size and number of existing stones. Traditional Tea
1 Cup
Boil 2 cups of water
Add 1 tbsp of dried herb
Let steep for approximately 5 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
1 Liter
Boil 1 liter of water
Add 10 gr of dried herb (about 1/4 of the bag)
Let steep for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
