Toronjil - Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is primarily known for its uses involving reducing anxiety and stress, insomnia and indigestion. It is thought to improve mood and cognitive function. By increasing a sense of calmness and reducing nervousness and excitability, there is a greater ability to relax and focus on tasks at hand.
Lemon balm may also be effective in relieving nausea. It can help ease pains caused by menstrual cramps, headaches and toothaches.
Traditional Tea
1 Cup
Boil 2 cups of water
Add 1 tbsp of dried herb
Let steep for approximately 5 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
