Anis - Anise
Anis is used for upset stomach, intestinal gas and bloating, a diuretic and as an appetite stimulant. Women have used anis to increase milk production during nursing and to treat menstrual pain and discomfort.
Anis is sweet and aromatic and has been said to resemble the flavor of black licorice. For this reason, it has been used as a flavoring agent in foods and liquors.
Traditional Tea
1 Cup
Boil 2 cups of water
Add 1 tbsp of dried herb
Let steep for approximately 5 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
1 Liter
Boil 1 liter of water
Add 10 gr of dried herb (about 1/4 of the bag)
Let steep for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
