Hierba Luisa - Lemon Grass
Luisa, also known as lemon grass is typically used to promote healthy digestion, soothe stomach aches, ease pain and relieve the common cold. It is well known for its lemon scent and flavor which is part of its anxiety reducing properties. It is helpful for fighting gum disease and cavities thanks to its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Traditional Tea
1 Cup
Boil 2 cups of water
Add 1 tbsp of dried herb
Let steep for approximately 5 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
1 Liter
Boil 1 liter of water
Add 10 gr of dried herb (about 1/4 of the bag)
Let steep for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, longer for a stronger tea
Strain and serve
Family-safe Bug Repellant
Boil water
Add a handful of dried herb
Let steep for approximately 10 to 15 minutes
To make a stronger repellant, slowly simmer the herb and cover on low heat for a few hours.
